10 year old girl with a painful proximal humerus.

Patient Data

Age: 10 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

Expansion of the proximal humerus with smooth periosteal reaction. Note intact growth plate. 

The lesion demonstrates multiple fluid fluid levels characteristic of an aneurysmal bone cyst. 

This lesion was treated percutaneously by Ethibloc instillation via an 18 gauge needle.
