An incidental finding during investigations of recurrent syncopal attacks.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

An aberrant right subclavian artery with anomalous origin of the right vertebral artery from the right common carotid artery. The left vertebral artery is seen normally originating from the first part of the left subclavian artery.

Case Discussion

This case shows an incidental rare vascular anomaly of the right vertebral artery origin associated with an aberrant right subclavian artery. Only 31 similar cases have been reported 1.
