Presentation

Severe headache and drowsiness. Subarachnoid hemorrhage on CT.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

Cerebral angiogram

On lateral view, a bilobed aneurysm with a narrow neck - projecting posterosuperiorly.

On Oblique projection, the relation of the aneurysm to the A2 segments of the anterior cerebral arteries revealed.

Case Discussion

Features are in keeping of ruptured anterior communicating artery aneurysm, with a bilobed configuration and a narrow neck.
