Presentation

Nasal congestion, runny nose and recurent sinusitis.

Age: 50 years
Gender: Male

Almost complete opacification of all paranasal sinuses.

Widening of right ostiomeatal complex, complete obliteration of the right nasal cavity along with hyperdense component extending from the nasal cavity to postnasal space causing narrowing of postnasal space.

Case Discussion

Typical features of antrochoanal polyp are opacified paranasal sinus, widened ostiomeatal complex by hyperdense component extending into the nasal cavity or further to postnasal space with no bone destruction. CT is the gold standard imaging modality.
