Aortic ductus diverticulum.

Case Discussion

An aortic ductus diverticulum is usually seen at the anteromedial aspect of the aorta at the site of the previous ductus arteriosus, which becomes the aortic isthmus. This is also the site of 90% of post-traumatic aortic injuries; therefore, differentiation of ductus arteriosus from a pseudoaneurysm is important.
