Presentation

Left pleuritic chest pain for 4 days ?pneumothorax

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Male

Bulky appearance to the left superior hilar region on the PA image with subtle increased density in the expected location of the left lower lobe apical segment on the lateral image. Appearance is most in keeping with left lower lobe apical segment consolidation. No pneumothorax.
