Recurrent right iliac fossa pain.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

Appendix shows circumferential mural thickening and hyperenhancement with diameter reaching 10 mm. No associated collections. Couple of ileocolic lymph nodes present. 

Case Discussion

This is a typical case of uncomplicated acute appendicitis with transmural inflammation of the appendix from tip to base without any periappendiceal collections or signs of perforation.
