Presentation

Chronic headaches.

Patient Data

Age: 35 years
Gender: Female
mri

Dilated third and lateral ventricles with normal size, and configuration of the fourth ventricle. No periventricular interstitial edema is seen. The sagittal FIESTA sequence shows an aqueductal web or diaphragm.

 

Case Discussion

Case of aqueductal stenosis (web or diaphragm) with obstructive hydrocephalus.
