Arachnoid cyst - cerebellopontine angle

Diagnosis almost certain

Presentation

MRI suggested following a cervical spine MRI to assess the cerebellar tonsils.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

2.3 cm cystic lesion at the right cerebellopontine angle following CSF signal on all sequences.

No solid elements. No mass effect on the pons.

The remainder of the intracranial appearances are normal.
