Arachnoid granulations

There are two small nodules within the distal transverse sinuses measuring (16 x 13 mm) on the right and (14 x 8 mm) on the left. They display a low signal on T1 and high signal on T2 with no enhancement (filling defects) on postcontrast sequences.
Case Discussion
Arachnoid granulations or Pacchionian granulations are a common incidental finding and should not be mistaken for dural venous sinus thrombosis.
