Presentation

Large abdomen and shortness of breath.

Patient Data

Age: 75 years
Gender: Male

 Homogenous hepatomegaly 180 mm, marked ascites, and bilateral pleural effusion.

Color Doppler ultrasound shows phasic hepatopetal flow in portal vein.

Color Doppler ultrasound of hepatic vein shows abnormally phasic flow that may indicate tricuspid regurgitation.
