Chronic use of acetylsalicylic. No trauma history.

Hyperattenuating lesion extending the left psoas muscle, consistent with hematoma.

About a month later persists heterogeneous and encapsulated collection inside the left psoas muscle. Patient presents infectious set.

CT Abdomen Post percutaneous abscess drainage

After case discussion with infectology staff we chosen to drain the collection percutaneously. Procedure performed with ultrasound guidance and patient in the left lateral position, given his inability to stay in ventral recumbency.
