Autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease (antenatal US)

Severe oligohydramnios and an enlarged abdomen circumference caused by enlarged kidneys.
Both kidneys were partially replaced by numerous irregular cystic structures (1-3mm) with echogenic tissue separating them.
Case Discussion
This case illustrates cystic kidney disease of childhood, with the main differential diagnosis being autosomal recessive polycystic kidney disease (ARPKD) and, less likely, bilateral multicystic dysplastic kidney (MCDK).
