Bilateral malrotated kidneys, in which both renal hila are directed anterolaterally. No backpressure changes could be elicited.
Case Discussion
This case shows bilateral renal malrotation, which is regarded as a normal variant. Consequent poor drainage of the collecting system as the position of the renal pelvis may predispose to stasis, infection and stone formation.
