Bilateral persistent median artery of the forearm with unilateral bifid median nerve
Diagnosis almost certain
Presentation
Right proximal forearm pain. Few months referred for an ultrasound to check right median nerve compression at proximal forearm - which was negative. No complaints on left side. Check for comparision

Persistent median artery of the forearm. Note that the median nerve is not bifid and the persistent median artery is on expected the ulnar side of it.

Case Discussion
No clinical signs of carpal tunnel syndrome on either side. Normal US nerve measurements on both sides.
