A study of the abdomen and pelvis without contrast was performed for the evaluation of bilateral renal lithiasis. It found right ureterolithiasis and bilateral direct inguinal hernia, seen to be medial to the epigastric vessels. The left-sided hernia contains the wall of the urinary bladder, with a small stone in the bladder in the hernia.

Case Discussion

The sliding of the bladder in an inguinal hernia is defined as a bladder hernia. It represents between 0.3% and 3% of hernias in adults and reaches up to 10% in those over 50 years. 70% of bladder hernias occur in males and are more frequent in the right inguinal region.
