The aortic arch has a bovine configuration, where the left common carotid and brachiocephalic arteries arise from a common trunk. In addition, the left vertebral artery arises from the aortic arch between the left common carotid and left subclavian arteries.

Case Discussion

This case demonstrates two anatomic variants: bovine arch and variant origin of the left vertebral artery directly from the arch.
