Selected images from an MRI of a child with a known treated brainstem glioma demonstrating extensive heterogeneous enhancement and mass effect of a centrally necrotic mass consistent with progression to a higher grade. Note the marked fatty replacement of marrow of the base of skull and C1 and C2 consistent with prior radiotherapy.
