Large hyper dense mass with irregular and spiculated margin is noted at left breast which causing marked nipple and skin retraction. Multiple microclacifications are seen within. A few prominent lymph nodes are also observed at left axillary regions.
Case Discussion
Features on mammogram are compatible with BI-RADS assessment category 5 lesion which is highly suggestive of malignancy.
The patient underwent left mastectomy and axillary lymph node dissection. Histopathology evaluation confirms invasive ductal carcinoma with lymph node involvement.
