Presentation

Cough, sputum and hemoptysis. No respiratory distress.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

Superior right-sided mediastinal mass with impression on the trachea. No lung or bone lesions.

Right paratracheal mass with invasion of the trachea, and encasement of the right upper lobe bronchus. It is also partially encasing the aortic arch and invading the superior vena cava.

Case Discussion

Endotracheal biopsy showed a small-cell bronchial carcinoma.
