Presentation

Shortness of breath.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female
X-ray

Diffuse nodular opacities are scattered throughout both lungs.

CT

Innumerable well-defined solid peribronchovascular nodules throughout both lungs.

Sclerotic bone metastases.

Nuclear medicine

Bone scintigraphy

Linear (periosteal) symmetric uptake along the lateral tibiae consistent with hypertrophic osteoarthropathy and osseous metastases.

Case Discussion

Pathologically-proven bronchoalveolar carcinoma.
