Presentation

Painful left shoulder.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female
  • intra-tendinous focal constant hypointensity lesions along with the infraspinatus tendon
  • abnormal intrasubstance increased fluid signal and thickening along with supraspinatus tendon critical zone fibers related to tendinosis
  • intramuscular ganglion cyst measuring about 10 x 20 mm within the supraspinatus muscle belly
  • subacromial / subdeltoid bursa is present
  • mild capsular hypertrophy and degenerative changes are seen along with AC joint
  • type II acromion
