Incidental finding in a patient with microhaematuria.

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

 Curvilinear calcifications in the pelvis, leading from the prostate to the inguinal canals, are compatible with calcifications of the vasa deferentia.

Case Discussion

Calcification of the vasa deferentia or seminal vesicles may hint to the presence of metabolic diseases, especially diabetes mellitus or hyperparathyroidism 1.
