Presentation

Cranial nerve palsies.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Male

The MRI sequences demonstrate a rounded well-defined lesion within the pons of inhomogeneous high signal intensity on T1WI, T2WI, and FLAIR, with peripheral rim of low signal (hemosiderin) and signal loss on GE. Minimal surrounding edema is noted. No enhancement seen on postcontrast sequences.
