Multiple intra-axial lesions centered at grey-white junction, with vasogenic edema. The lesions demonstrate intrinsic T1 hyperintensity, heterogeneous enhancement, T2/FLAIR iso/hypointensity and blooming on SWI.
The T1 and SWI signal characteristics could be due to melanin and/or blood products.
Case Discussion
Multiple enhancing intra-axial lesions with instrinsic T1 hyperintensity and blooming (SWI).
These signal characteristics could be due to melanin and/or blood products.
Cerebral metastatic melanoma was histologically proven.
