Presentation

Severe headaches.

Patient Data

Age: 80 years
Gender: Male
ct

Numerous nodular and ring-like enhancing lesions, two in the posterior cranial fossa and two at supratentroial level with extensive surrounding vasogenic edema mainly around the largest lesion with effacement of the cortical sulci and mass effect on the right lateral ventricle. 

Case Discussion

MRI features of numerous intra-axial nodular and ring-like enhancing lesions in a patient known for lung cancer (small cell carcinoma of the lung) is most consistent with brain metastases.
