Presentation

Long history of neurological impairment.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Male

CT brain

Non contrast CT demonstrates a small posterior fossa with a low insertion of the tentorium. The foramen magnum is crowded and the tonsils are ectopic. The tectum is beaked. 

The corpus callosum is dysgenic, and VP shunts are in situ. 

CT of the lumbosacral spine

ct

Lumbosacral spina bifeda is present. The radio-opaque structure anteriorly most likely represent the reservoir for an artificial urinary sphincter.
