Patient Data

Distinctive asymmetrical enhancement of the choroid plexus of the right lateral ventricle. The atrium is not dilated nor is there any ependymal or leptomeningeal pathology.

Case Discussion

The study reveals asymmetrical enlargement with avid enhancement of the choroid plexus at the atrium of the right lateral ventricle. Ventricular size is normal. No obvious leptomeningeal enhancement is noted.

Given the history and presentation, these findings are consistent with the diagnosis of choroid plexitis.

The CSF examination revealed a biochemical picture compatible with tubercular meningitis.
