The occipital horn of right lateral ventricle shows a well-defined cystic lesion with clear fluid contents (simple cyst), measuring about 1.2 x 1.3 cm.
No other abnormalities were detected.
Case Discussion
Typical choroid plexus cyst. Choroid plexus cysts are pseudocysts within the choroid plexus that are filled with clear CSF fluid and cellular debris. They are usually transient if occurring in utero. Most cases are isolated, with no other congenital anomalies.
