Thickened high signal patella tendon, particularly of the deep and proximal fibers. Findings in keeping with jumper's knee.
Case Discussion
Note the thickened high signal patella tendon, particularly of the deep and proximal fibers at the site of its origin at the inferior pole of the patella. It occurs in athletes due to chronic overuse.
