Huge destructive mass arising from the clivus and extending posteriorly into the prepontine cistern indenting the brainstem (thumb sign) and cerebellum and due to mass effect on the fourth ventricle shows mild supratentorial hydrocephalus. The mass extending to the foramen magnum, spinal canal, parapharyngeal and prevertebral spaces. The C1 vertebral body is involved by the tumor.
Case Discussion
The mass shows characteristic imaging findings of clival chordoma that pathologically has been confirmed.
