Colloid cyst of the third ventricle

Well defined, rounded, hyperdense lesion (~75 HU) at the roof of the 3rd ventricle - the typical appearance of a colloid cyst.
Case Discussion
Colloid cysts account for 0.5-3% of primary brain tumors and 15-20% of intraventricular masses 1-3. They are located at the foramen of Monro in 99% of cases 1.
