Comminuted and displaced right proximal humerus fracture.  No rib fractures.  The lungs are clear. No pneumothorax or pleural effusion.

Case Discussion

Proximal humerus fractures can be overlooked on chest radiographs, therefore using a systemic review system will reduce the chance of overlooking such pathology. If from a standing height, such fractures should be considered fragility fractures and referral for a DEXA scan and bone assessment recommended.
