Complex regional pain syndrome

Presentation

Ongoing right hand pain, 3 months following distal radius fracture.

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female
x-ray

There is diffuse periarticular osteopenia involving all joints distal to the fracture site, more severe than what was seen on the previous study. This is consistent with a complex regional pain syndrome.
