Presentation

FDG PET-CT requested to characterize a solitary pulmonary nodule. History of right MCA territory infarction and left craniotomy for meningioma.

Age: 60 years
Gender: Female

Region of encephalomalacia and reduced FDG uptake involving the right MCA territory.

Reduced FDG uptake in the left cerebellum (contralateral).

Case Discussion

Pattern of reduced uptake in the left cerebellum is most in keeping with crossed cerebellar diaschisis.
