Knee pain after ACL reconstruction

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male
mri

ACL reconstruction demonstrated with secondary ligamentization of the graft.

Prominent scarring anterior to the ACL graft projecting into the inferior aspect of Hoffa's fat pad. This measures 2.7 x 1.5 x 2.1 cm in size.

Also notice the swelling of patellar articular cartilage (chondromalacia patella)

Post operative scarring related to ACL repair which compatible with cyclops lesion (also known as localized anterior arthrofibrosis).
