Severe cough.

Patient Data

Age: 8 years
Gender: Female

Cystic bronchiectasis containing air-fluid levels. Peribronchial and septal thickening is seen.

Mosaic attenuation due to small airway disease is evident.

Case Discussion

Female patient with known cystic fibrosis (CF). The sputum culture was positive for Pseudomonas aeruginosa, the most common infective agent in CF.
