Thickening of extensor pollicis brevis and abductor pollicis longus tendons surrounded by anechoic echogenicity associated with hyperemia and overlying subcutaneous edema.

Case Discussion
De Quervain’s tenosynovitis affects the abductor pollicis longus (APL) and the extensor pollicis brevis (EPB) tendons, which pass through the first dorsal extensor compartment of the wrist 1.
Conservative management of de Quervain’s tenosynovitis differs based on the severity of the condition. Options include anti-inflammatory medication, corticosteroid injections, and occupational therapy (OT). If symptoms persist despite a trial of conservative care, surgical intervention may be warranted 1.
