Caries destroy the crown of 36 with periapical lucency and surrounding sclerosis in keeping with a dental abscess. Further approximal caries at 11/21.
Case Discussion
Dental caries are very common and, as seen in this case, can be complicated by dental abscess. Severe untreated infection can result in osteomyelitis and deep neck space infection.
