Presentation

Presyncope. Has had several occurrences of syncope in past two years, with similar manifestations. Incidental finding.

Patient Data

Age: 40 years
Gender: Female

Partially calcified streaks in the subcutaneous fat of the cheeks.

Case Discussion

The radiologist suspected this to be dermal filler and so requested that the treating physician in the ED ask the patient directly. She affirmed and added that she received calcium hydroxyapatite injections.
