This single ultrasound image demonstrates the liver to by hyperechoic with loss of the normally bright vascular margins. Features are consistent with diffuse fatty change. 

Case Discussion

A single image of the liver of a pregnant woman with diffuse fatty liver which may, in the correct clinical setting, represent acute fatty liver of pregnancy. Unfortunately, no further clinical information is available.
