Bright T2 signal around and within the distal biceps tendon near its insertion on the radial tuberosity. No tendon disruption.

An example of a distal biceps tendon injury is indicated by the high signal within the distal biceps tendon and its paratenon and the fitting clinical symptoms. The absence of tendon disruption indicates a minor injury namely strain or partial tear.
