Distal clavicular erosions from hyperparathyroidism

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

Right sided internal jugular CVL sits with the tip in the SVC. Left sided pacemaker in situ with no evidence of lead fracture. Surgical clips in the superior mediastinum in keeping with recent parathyroidectomy. Atelectasis within the base of the right lung. Cardiomediastinal contours are normal given the AP projection.

Erosion of the distal clavicles consistent with history of hyperparathyroidism.
