Distal radius fracture

A transverse fracture of the distal radius with radial and volar offset of the distal fragment. There is also an avulsion fracture of the ulnar styloid.
The first carpometacaropal joint has severe degenerative changes.

This is an exemplary example of modified radiographic technique to obtain a lateral projection of the wrist.
