Ductus diverticulum

Case contributed by Dr Franco Ruales

Focal atheromatous aortic bulge involving the anteromedial aorta near the isthmus , compatible with a ductus diverticulum.

Case Discussion

This diverticulum would not be confused with a pseudoaneurysm, even in an acute traumatic setting, in the presence atheromatous calcifications.
