Echogenic cardiac focus is noted in the left ventricle.
Bilateral prominent pelvicalyceal system, right renal pelvis AP diameter is 3 mm and left renal AP diameter is 6~7 mm, suggestive of left fetal pyelectasis.
Case Discussion
Echogenic intracardiac focus is a common finding that represents mineralization of papillary muscles, yet it is reported to have an association with genetic abnormalities.
Fetal pyelectasis and echogenic intracardiac focus are antenatal soft markers. Pyelectasis can be identified as an isolated finding or in association with other soft markers.
