Urine incontinence and flanks pain.

Patient Data

Gender: Female

Ectopic insertion of the ureters into the upper urethra below the level of the external urethral sphincter. Bilateral moderate hydronephrosis and hydroureter. Diffuse hepatic steatosis.

Case Discussion

Ectopic ureters are more common in females than males. The most common site of insertion in females is the urinary bladder neck or upper urethra. The most common complaint is urine incontinence.
