Ectopic pregnancy

Presentation

History of a positive pregnancy test, no pregnancy was visible on ultrasound in the uterus.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female
mri

There is a poorly defined, abnormal signal (T1 heterogeneous low signal, T2 intermediate signal, thick rim of enhancement, and some diffusion restriction) in the right adnexal region measuring 3.6 x 3 x 3.2 cm.
Left adnexa is normal.
The uterus is normal in size and shape, retroverted, and anteflexed.

Endometrial thickening is noted.
There is no free fluid in the cul-de-sac of Douglas.
