CT study shows an incidental elongated left atrial appendage measures 1.5x4 cm seen in a retro-pulmonary artery location and presents a “chicken-wing” morphology. It shows normal enhancement with no thrombosis.
Normal coronary arteries.

The left atrial appendage shape and length are highly variable. Here is a case of an incidental prominent elongated left atrial appendage, “chicken-wing” type with no thrombosis.
