Empty sella

The pituitary fossa is expanded and filled with CSF intensity fluid. The infundibulum is mostly central (certainly not significantly displaced) and extends down to the floor of the sella where a thin lining of soft tissue is present.

This patient had a history of benign intracranial hypertension, with prominent empty sella.
